How It All Began

Let me tell you how it all began.. One evening, I was listening to a sermon about walking in your purpose. The speaker then began to speak on how God puts businesses in the minds of many people but they never act on it and this puts them at a standstill because little do we know-- it's these very things that He created us for, it's our purpose. I felt a very strong tug on my Spirit and I began to ask God questions like, "Why are You tugging on me? What business would I even start?" His answer appeared in my heart before I could even finish asking that question. I saw it so clearly, "Modest Clothing." It was then that He really began to tug even harder but I just couldn't accept it. I've never been into business, I've never been good with numbers, I've never even been good at thinking things through logically to be honest and I knew I didn't have the money, so how could I start this business and just turn into a business woman out of nowhere? I was thinking about all of this, completely disregarding the following facts: If God qualifies me then I'm qualified, He is Jehovah Jireh MY Provider, and I am who HE says I am. PERIOD. That night, I could barely sleep. Fed up, I got up and said "Okay God, if this is really what you want me to do, I'm going to need more than a tug.. I need some confirmation!" Haha isn't it funny how we always seem to ask Him for confirmation, even when it's clear as day what He's telling us to do? I really should have smacked some sense into myself, like girl if you don't stop stalling! The funniest part is, I really only tend to ask for confirmation when I don't want to do something, but right when I'm about to get into some sin, I run through EVERY red light! Anyway, He confirmed it to me many times through His Word, dreams, and even my family. I finally accepted it and said, "God, I will do it. I give you full permission to use me." I went on several fasts where He revealed to me the name, what colors to use, the logo design, He had it planned down to the T! I followed all His instructions and allowed Him to lead me.. Now here I am and I'm never looking back!
